A HOME FOR KASSIDY

 A HOME FOR KASSIDY

Local 7 would like to express its deepest thanks and appreciation to all the volunteers who contributed and worked on the “A Home For Kassidy” project.

Ten year-old Kassidy Krenzer is a two-time survivor of cancer.  Kassidy was diagnosed with leukemia in July of 2004, and is just returning home from her latest bout with this awful disease.

In the last two and half years, this brave little girl has courageously endured countless doctor visits; undergone a bone marrow transplant in which she suffered complications; chemotherapy; ingested mega doses of drugs; and has needed to take steroids.

The Krenzer’s East Greenbush home needed a complete renovation.  True to our creed of community first, our volunteers rushed to participate in this project.  Special thanks to the following list of volunteers for their financial support and compassion in completing this project:

  • TLemme
  • FPI Mechanical
  • BPI Plumbing and Heating
  • Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union No. 7
  • Local 7’s Plumbing and Heating Apprenticeship Classes
  • The Greater Capital Region Building and Constructions Trades
  • Capital District Mechanical Contractors Association

(Ralph Zeto, Director)
